Metal garbage containers, wooden, plastic and concrete

Metal. Steel sheet is most often used to build covers and steel wire, from which the movable basket is made. The best permanent protection of steel against corrosion is the galvanic covering of the elements with zinc, that is, galvanizing. The outer surface of galvanized baskets can be painted with different enamels to give a specific color. Protecting shields against corrosion with anti -corrosive paints is less effective than galvanizing and must be repeated after some time. Mesh baskets can also be protected against corrosion by covering with plastic coatings, However, they are not fireproof. The external covers of the containers can also be made of aluminum sheets.
Sometimes one -piece baskets with a mesh structure are used, whose surface is covered with opaque polyethylene foil, usually in a dark green colored black.

Wood. The external parts of the basket are most often made of wood. Usually these are strips attached to galvanized steel rings. Wood can be impregnated and painted or unpainted.

Plastics. For the construction of baskets and containers, glass fibers reinforced with synthetic resins are currently used quite commonly. The products of them are known for high mechanical strength, resistance to atmospheric factors and ease of permanent dyeing. Such plastic can be made of both permanent external parts, as well as moving internal parts of baskets and containers.

Concrete. Concrete is used to build parts of external baskets and containers. Concrete baskets and containers are designed as a two -piece with a movable mesh basket. Concrete parts are made as monolithic in special formwork or consist of prefabricated thickness plates 3-6 cm. The surface of the concrete can be processed in various ways to give it an aesthetic look.
